ORE Catapult is the UK’s flagship technology innovation and research centre for advancing wind, wave and tidal energy.

What we are looking for:
ORE Catapult is looking to engage with developers, operators, OEMs and investment bodies with the aim to explore possible collaborations related to research, innovation, test and validation related to new materials and/or methodologies applied in design, construction and maintenance.

In addition we are looking to engage with the supply chain to identify and explore areas for collaboration, the predominant interest is towards designers, manufactures, suppliers and contractors associated with the Balance of Plant elements, i.e. foundations, electrical infrastructure, construction equipment and main wind turbine components.

ORE Catapult sits at the heart of technology development and is instrumental in the application of innovative technologies to reduce the cost of energy from offshore wind, wave and tidal technologies. We are part of the Cost Reduction Monitoring Framework and work with The Crown Estate on technology strategies for Cost Reduction.

We operate the largest concentration of
offshore renewable energy test facilities
anywhere in the world, offering test and validation services for blades, drive trains, electrical networks and subsea technology, and our research activities provide added value to our testing capability.
