SeaState5 is a company that develops equipment for the installation of offshore wind energy. We are located in Delft, the Netherlands, and our product portfolio consists of lifting and upending tools and noise mitigation systems. Building on offshore expertise from the Delft and Rotterdam area, we design and deliver innovative, cost-effective equipment. Products are designed and prototyped in-house and realized in close collaboration with our partners.

The Big Resonator Curtain, a high performance NMS

What we are looking for:
We are looking for installation contractors, project planners and project developers who are:
- involved in projects with potentially unacceptable noise levels from piling operations;
- looking for an alternative noise mitigation system
- looking for an assessment of the expected underwater noise for a project
- looking for measurement services during a project execution

What we offer:
The Big Resonator Curtain (BRC) is a new, high performance noise mitigation system, based on resonators. The system is tuned such that it absorbs the low-frequent noise typically generated during piling operations of a monopile. The BRC achieves high reductions in dB and can be deployed with a radius of 150 m, thereby providing a noise reduction envelope around both jack-up and monopile. The BRC can be used in combination with existing noise mitigation systems and is available on a rental basis. Furthermore, we offer underwater noise assessments during all stages of project planning and development, and we offer noise measurement services during project execution.
